Jack Hodgson, Director, has been involved in the Building Industry since joining the Commonwealth Experimental Building Station in 1947 as a draughtsman and junior member of one of the first teams in Australia to apply soil mechanics to the problem of house footings on expansive clays.

Since that time, Jack has held positions ranging from Engineer to Chief Engineer and Associate in such organisations as Department of Public Works (NSW), Water Conservation and

Irrigation Commission, George Wimpey & Co Limited, Boral Ltd, Longworth & McKenzie Consulting Engineers and Dames & Moore Consulting Engineers.

With over 50 years experience in almost all aspects of the civil engineering industry, Jack has a depth of knowledge second to none and constantly draws on this experience to deliver the smartest and best solutions for his clients. In addition to the knowledge he has acquired over the years, Jack keeps abreast of engineering practices and trends through constant research and development and attendance at industry events.
